I join Tumblr in the hope of finding a space to showcase my work to the world. I have tried this numerous times before on flickr etc., but have never been successful in showing my work that I am proud of to people who aren’t already my friends, so why not try again?
Well, I guess, if you are reading this then you might want to know a bit about me.
I have just completed a stressful Art GCSE during which I learnt hardly anything and was forced to work which I was not comfortable with and did not enjoy; and as you may have guessed, I am not taking it for A Level.
My real passion is photography, although occasionally I like to delve into other aspects of art, and currently I am particularly focussing on my drawing and painting skills. Although I like to use my photos as inspiration for my work, I feel that I am too dependent on them when doing other pieces of art, and I therefore want to develop my skills in first hand drawing and simply drawing from my imagination.
I will try to upload photos as often as possible, but don’t expect too much, and I will (!) make this a more successful venture than my many others!
